I played a concert in the park last night and took the Jetta with my Z-verb. Usually, I play my Z-Wreck and DB4 together for these kinds of shows. Volume isn’t an issue and they sound amazing together. But rain was in the forecast so I decided to take the Jetta combo...easier to protect. I bought the Jetta for small gigs where volume IS an issue. I never once thought I’d use if for big stage, concert in the park type shows. Played my Nash Tele's and set the volume at 10, master at noon. At those settings, it’s got great on the edge of breakup tone. When I needed more dirt, I stepped on the Greer Lightspeed or the silver Archer I use as a push box. I’ve never ran the master that high up for a gig. It’s a great MV circuit that doesn’t impact the tone. It must have been the fact that it was just louder and pushing more air. The only other change I made was the tone setting. Normally, I run it around 10. I left it there for my Tele bridge pup, but turned it to 1pm for songs where I only used the neck pup. The MV and tone settings are the only thing I changed. It sounded and FELT so alive! Clean, slight breakup or dirty it was right where it needed to be. It was one of those nights where everything was right with the world, tone wise. I should add that I didn't hear ANY "tube rattle" on stage.

Great to hear. Believe me, it does not sound good when it occurs, and it gets worse with higher volume. But, as usual, Doc figured out how to get around the issue of crappy new production tubes. I'm waiting for the parts to arrive.
It is a great amp. Lots of punch in a compact package.
