I was wondering if anyone has had issues with the effects loop. Does it suck power from the amp? I use the following pedals through the loop, boss reverb, boss delay, strymon ola, mxr reverb....they are daisy chained.
I don’t know if I am overloading the loop, if that’s possible. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

With 4 pedals in the loop, you may see some volume drop. How long are the cables you're using. Have you tried a buffer after the MXR verb ?
I don't think you have to worry about overloading the loop, or sucking power from the amp. But with 4 pedals and cables longer than ... say 10 ft, you could probably benefit from a buffer.

Yes, unless those pedals are sitting on top of the amp (i.e. super short cables), the OP will need a buffer. I think Strymon pedals have a buffer mode that would do the same thing.

It's true about a buffer in the loop, but you mentioned "overloading". Does that mean it's distorting?

Thank you all for your input. Subsequent to this post my cure stated crackling and squealing with nothing plugged into it. (No pedals, no guitar). I brought it to a shop nearby to have it looked at.. I don’t think this was related to the loop. Pertaining to the overloading it did sound anemic and no sustain which it usually has. Once I get the amp back I will try a buffer.
