Congratulations and welcome. Now you have to decide what your next Z amp will be. They’re like potato chips.

Welcome to the Forum - a lot of good information and great people here. The CAZ is a fun amp - but then again, most of Doc's amps are! And they are like potato chips - just look at my avatar!

Welcome to the gang, good to have you! I've been running my CAZ with Greenbacks too, until today. I've tried a bunch of different speakers but I ended up with a 2x12 closed back with a Vintage 30 and a G12H30. It blew my other cab right out of the water...that's just me but with that combination I've found heaven on earth in terms of guitar harmonics, shimmer, sweet aggression...what an amp.

scottsdg That is quite the assortment of high end amps you want through there. Just wanted to comment the pedals... I'm kind of like that too where I'm really totally happy playing it with no pedals. Last time I plugged it in was with a 2x12 closed back with V30 and alnico cream and it sounded great. Also noted there how easily it feeds back at low volume (was using a 335 so that helped). It works in all my cabs, but I particularly like it in a straight 4x12 with greenbacks and creambacks. And welcome aboard!

Welcome! You got a great amp in the CAZ! It's probably one of the greatest hard rocker amp ever! It is also amazing just just how versatile it is. You can go from clean to mean with a spin of the guitar volume. The loop is fantastic! It makes your effects pedals feel like they are part of the amp.

Welcome!
Any chance you have tried it with drop tuned chugga chugga riffs? 😎

Sorry I'm the wrong guy to ask. It has a lot of gain on tap but to my ears its old school hard rock/ heavy metal type gain. I'm a standard tuning Les Paul playing balls to the wall type tone with the occasional drop D tuning.
