Not sure how I missed this along the way. My favourite artist covering one of my favourite Springsteen songs.

I’ll have to check it out. Saw her live a few years back. Very good!

I need to look further past the B,S,& T section - totally missed this. Yeah, she is possibly my favourite artist and especially in this stripped-down setting. In late 2017 I travelled to northern New Hampshire (Lebanon) to see her live. It wasn't long after Tom Petty died. We had upgraded tix so we got to do a "Meet 'n Greet". We sat in the front row of the theatre and she came out and sat at the foot of the stage right in front of us. She played a solo acoustic version of Petty's "Wildflowers". It was stunning.

I saw her at a nice dinner/concert venue in San Diego, Anthology (unfortunately closed down) and she pretty much did most of her tunes like she did on her Live Acoustic CD. She was funny, clever, a bit apologetic, accompanied by excellent sound from her Martin guitar. On a side note, in Zac Childs interview of John Leventhal (3 of 3,) John discusses the tunings (Get Out of This House) along with his working relationship with Shawn. Good stuff.

Yeah, I've watched the Leventhal interviews over and over. Seems like such a cool guy and I love his playing style.

Pretty cool video. Intimate and raw. I don't know that I'd have the guts to get camera shots that close myself although no one's going to confuse me with Ms. Colvin or even George Clooney for that matter.
I'm a strummer and like to dig in. I'm always struck when I see someone finger picking like that as to how they can get a strong sound and great feel from such subtle movement. Lyle Lovett's another one that comes to mind. Actually, her singing is subtle but strong and with great feel too.
