Hi,
Love my Jetta. A move to an apartment and playing mostly through an OX, as to not get evicted, has me wondering if it's possible to convert my combo to a head. I'd keep the combo cab and would switch back if I ever get to play out again. I also have a Cure and would like to do the same thing with that.

Mather cabinets made a head cabinet for my Cure. Fits perfectly, high quality and looks great. It's the amp in my avatar.

I'll check them out. Thanks! Bassman00, The best way to get a hold of Mather is to email Peter at peter@mathercab.com He only responds to email, it drives helmi bonkers, but he does communicate very well via email. He has probably built 6 or 7 different cabinets for my Z amps. |

Dont' forget to post pics when you get it! Didn't forget to post a pic. However, this one has a bit of a story. Mather finished the cab and sent it out a little earlier than he estimated. Surived the trip and looked great. Unfortunately, it was like 3/16" too narrow and I could fit the chassis in the cab. He had mentioned he'd done a cab for one prior at it used those measurements. After contacting him, he quickly redid the cab with the new width and sent it out. I believe it was within or just over a week. Finally got a chance to swap the chassis and it looks great. I HIGHLY recommend Peter Mather for custom cabs. Here's a pic as requested.  ![]() Oh yeah, the same day the original cab arrived, I received a new Z-Wreck Jr who had to get into the picture. Wow. Cure, Jetta and Z-Wreck Jr. All different, but all have that wonderful, unmistakably Z DNA. Thanks, PaulD |

That's a nice stack, glad the new cab worked out, I have probably bought 6-7 pieces from him.

Looks great! Nice to hear he took care of the issue quickly. Yeah, he asked a few questions about dimensions, told me when the new one will be ready and sent it out. It's always nice to deal with real, honest people. Again, I highly recommend Peter for custom cabinet work. I'm in the process of spec'ing out a 1x12 extension cab in the same appearance with an elliptical open back. I have a bunch of heads and when I don't have to run it through the OX, I like have cabinet/speaker choices. |
