Just got a Remedy head(the older non master volume one) and a 2x12 cab with a WGS ET65 and a Celestion G12H30 70th anniv.
My board is small, as I've narrowed it down to the essentials. I have a Fulltone Fat Boost3 for leads when I'm using the Remedy cranked up into overdrive. I plan on setting up the amp for great single coil cleans and then tweaking the Z Drive.
Where should I start, EQ wise? Anyone have great success with the Z Drive/Remedy combined?

I have NO experience with the Z Drive plus Remedy combo, but I use one as my main OD with my EMS. I start with the EQ all at 12:00 and adjust as needed. Then, adjust gain and level to taste. Then play with the cut switch to see where you like it. I find the Z Drive has a very powerful EQ section and is very good at manipulating to a desired EQ curve. For me, I change the EQ and the cut based on which channel, and by that I mean high or low switch, I am using on the EMS. It’s a great pedal with a zillion possibilities- play with it!

Spent 3 hours, at gig volume, turning knobs on the Remedy, Z Drive and 3 different guitars: strat, tele, dual P90 tele(all 3 G&L). The Z Drive works with all of them! What I found was, my TMB/EQ settings were extremely close to that of the amp, which were different with each guitar. Level and gain were basically the same as they've always been, but I liked both cut switches UP with the Remedy. I liked the Red side more with the Remedy than with any other amp! All and all, the Z Drive was easier to dial in with the Remedy than with the Z28.
Still a keeper!

I'll offer a tip on any dual sided OD pedal (that I discovered worked for my by pure chance). I went through 2 KOT's not liking them. I was trying to use them by dialing in each side by itself, and then occasionally using them together. After I got a 3rd KOT, it hit me to think of the pedal as ONE pedal (not 2 sides). I now run mine in a looper with both sides on all the time and dial it in from there.
Just a thought.......YMMV.
