I've not been playing much bass in recent years, but probably made more $$ playing bass than guitar. Back in the day in house gig's I used a huge bi-amped system with 1-18 on bottom and a 2-12 for the kids & highs. I've wanted an 8-10 cab for years. Not that I need it, just wanted that SVT tone and look. I stumbled across Barefaced Bass cabs and did some research. barefacedaudio.com/products/six_10 I settled on their SIX10. It came today and I'm a happy camper! They say their SIX10 is their answer to the SVT. Their Eight10 is supposedly as strong as TWO SVT's!! After hearing this cab, I believe it. The Milkman Half and Half is 700 watts of class D power and weights 12 lbs! The SIX10 only weighs 65lbs and is very easy to move. It has kickback wheels and handle on the top and two on the sides. I am very happy with the tone, power and THUMP of this big, little rig. Let's JAM!!!

I'm late to the party....but that looks like a fantastic (and ultimate) club bass rig. And that head is only 12lbs!!! WOW! In a pinch that head could be thrown in a large gig bag.

Very, very cool rig there, Mark! Funny, I didn't think I'd ever see you with a Milkman amp again .... (I still have mine)...

Very, very cool rig there, Mark! Funny, I didn't think I'd ever see you with a Milkman amp again .... (I still have mine)... I actually LOVE this Milkman!! I had a feeling from the previous guitar amp, that he would make a great, clean bass amp. My hunch was correct. This one is 100% clean....and can get mean!! Love it. I'm late to the party....but that looks like a fantastic (and ultimate) club bass rig. And that head is only 12lbs!!! WOW! In a pinch that head could be thrown in a large gig bag. Yes, the new class D amp technology is amazing. I picked it up the other day to measure for a Studio Slips cover and still can't believe how light it is......yet so powerful. And Barefaced makes 1-10, 2-10, 4-10, 6-10 and 8-10 cab's. I'm sure a 2-10 and this amp would be a cool, light, killer club rig.

That's really sweet...too bad the speaker cab doesn't weigh 12 pounds as well!!! I used to love playing bass in a power trio I was in about 10 years ago. Haven't played it much in recent years.
