I have messed with virtually every kind of pedal at one time over the years except for a Rangemaster-type treble booster. I have a couple of questions for those with experience. First, between these two which do you prefer: Analogman Beano Boost vs Fulltone CS Ranger? Second, I already have a Wampler Clarksdale. It has a 3-band EQ. Am I going to gain anything with a "Rangemaster" that I can't already dial in with that pedal? I know it is a different kind of dirt but I don't use the Clarksdale as a dirt pedal. Just to boost certain frequencies going to a Marshall-type pedal. In fact I almost always have the Gain knob at minimum.

I have the analog man one. it's something I might pull out once in a while to try and get a "sound", but in general have never gotten a sound I liked with it. I have a theory though, if you have a really muddy sound (amp and/or speakers), clipped amp, you might be able to make use of it. My 2 cents is probably look elsewhere.

I have a Time Machine Boost pedal. I use it with a Remedy and an all mahogany ‘57 Les Paul reissue. I like the sounds they produce together. I usually have the volume on the guitar backed off a bit and the tone controls at 5. This gives me a great rock tone with some midrange honk. I can turn up the volume or tone and get a brighter or more distorted tone. I can get, to my ear, a good approximation of the Aqualung tone. So much fun to rip away on. Stay safe. ME

My experience with the Rangemaster and its clones is that the amp has to be cranked to the point where the Rangemaster pushes it into distortion rather than just making the amp louder and the Rangemaster has to be set pretty high so it distorts as well. This can be done a livable volume levels with an amp that has a good master. As Michael said, the guitar's volume setting affects the sound to a great degree. I just tried it with my Z-Wreck and it sounded awesome even at only about 100db.
