I've never played one. However Diamond definitely makes some good stuff. Had a Quantum Leap at one time and loved it, I was just at the point where I had to offload some gear. The demos for the Fireburst sound cool though.

Guilty as charged. I’ve owned and played most Diamond drive and fuzz pedals. The Fireburst is great fuzz/overdrive pedal. The version 1. Which version did you get? The Fireburst is versatile and can do a range of overdrive and fuzz. I couldn’t use it with the band I was in so I traded for a Boost EQ which I stacked with a J-Drive V3. I’ve always had issues with fuzz. Love/hate... Love the sounds - hate trying to make it fit into the bands sound. I always want a BIG sounding fuzz which gets lost in the mix 🤬🤬🤬. It is a great thick fuzz. ME

It’s a V1 Am now convinced that I need more Stones/Faces/70s songs in my repertoire I like it. A lot! So far it’s hitting all the right spots with Z-28 and Les Paul Special Cheers always Joel
