Has anyone tried one of these? I'm not a fan of chorus effects but I remember messing with an original Dimension C many years ago and being impressed how it did not destroy my tone like most chorus pedals. My main question is how well it works when running mono.

I haven't tried this one, but I have an original DM-2 and the Waza DM-2 and they both sound great. I would think the DC would as well.

I have one. Your memory serves you well. As much as I like chorus, sometimes all you need is just a little effect. I find that the Dimension C on either of the first 2 buttons just adds a little shimmer to the sound, especially the first one. On the first button you hardly know its on until you turn it off and you just miss it.
I find it's not as overt as chorus but, instead, just widens/enhances things a little. Of course, once you get to the 4th button its a more noticable, but still nice. I think you can select multiple buttons with the Waza as well as the interface is digital vs hard-press buttons.
The Waza also gives you a custom mode that replicates the rackmount units used back in the day. It's similar to the regular sound but a little sweeter.
I need to use mine a little more.

And it works well in mono? That’s the only way I’ve ever tried it. I’m sure it’s a notch up in stereo but I haven’t even had the urge to try.

I tried it. It’s good, but I found that using my CE-2W with slow speeds and shallow depth I could get the subtle thickening I was looking for and save some pedalboard real estate.

For me, however, as a home-based pedal collector/hoarder (who will never use a pedal board) I buy them all! I like the simplicity of the button selector, too.

I own both the CE-2W and the DC-2W (not to mention other Waza pedals) and love them both!
KeithA's description above is spot on. I use the second setting for most "chorus replacement" duties on a little battery op board and have the CE-2W on my large board.
I think it all comes down to what you want the chorus/widening effect for. Meaning, with the CE, you get it's well known "regular" chorus tones in standard mode, but then in Custom, you can simulate everything from almost phasor to almost univibe between speed, depth and the two settings of that side of the pedal.

I have never liked playing through phasors, chorus or flangers. I only used them when it was "required" to get a signature sound when doing cover tunes. It just seemed like they all were tone suckers more than adding anything. My experience with the Dimension C was different. In the first setting it could have been an "always on" pedal for me.

I just acquired a DC-2W. It is everything I expected. The only negative thing I could possibly say about it is that after playing awhile with it on at the #1 setting my clean tone then sounds TOO DRY with it off. It is perfect for those George Strait/Garth Brooks type ballads.

Having gone down the Dimension path with my new DC-2W has made me take a listen to a Dimension type pedal I already had but had not explored. It is my Keeley 30MS. I liked and used the Abby mode so much I never even tried the Dimension mode. I have found that for a very subtle effect I like the 30MS better.

I remember when that pedal came out but I never paid any attention to it. May have to have a look-see

I have an original DC-2 and tried a DC-2w in hopes I could keep the DC-2 at home or maybe even sell it.
Maybe the original is either an outlier good (or bad) unit, but I like it and the DC-2w wasn't close in my experience.
That hasn't been the case with several of the other WazaCraft pedals I have (DM-2w, BD-2w, SD-1w) where I also have originals.
