I have an inexpensive Ibanez full hollow-body ( ASV ) that I am going to upgrade.
Does anybody know if I need To buy “long shaft” or ‘short shaft” pots?
And is there a brand that won’t require drilling out the existing potentiometer mounting holes?
I can use CTS pots and drill the holes out if I need to, I just prefer not to.
Thanks, Gray

If it's a hollow body with 'F' holes, you should be able to see fairly easily how deep the body wood is. I'd think you certainly wouldn't need the "long shaft" ones like Gibson sells for some Les Pauls. I've done a harness job on my 335 and it's a time consuming, tedious job. If it's a full hollow body you should be able to have more room to move than with the 335. Another thought is to get hold of a harness maker and ask them what your guitar needs.

I plan on pulling the pickups out at the same time. I’ll fish in the wiring harness through one of the pickup holes.
I was thinking about getting a pre-wired harness to save some time as well.
Thanks for the info. .

Talk to Emerson Custom. Great harness kits...
