Great job, Adam. I really appreciate your demos, they really do a fine job of showing the amp's abilities off.

Great job, Adam. I really appreciate your demos, they really do a fine job of showing the amp's abilities off. Thanks Dave! I really like the amp and it can go all over the place. The shades of your Jethro Tull or I guess my ac/dc stuff is kind of old Marshall land, the scorps stuff is probably a mix of Jose modded Marshalls, the Ratt thing I think could have been a Laney or modded Marshall, the Floyd thing I think was a cranked twin, it does phenomenal old and new Santana sounds which is like old cranked Fender to Boogie to Dumble, I could go on and on. What is always does is sound musical and is never harsh in any way. What it doesn't do is say spanking Fender clean or Vox clean, but I'm sure everyone figured that out by now. I also really like that it's a one channel amp and if you set it to a mid gain and throw a boost in front to make high gain, you have really everything you need with the guitar volume and one pedal. Or you can be a little lazy and skip the pedal and turn up the gain and you are still good to go pretty much anything. Having said that, I really appreciate that kind of simplistic approach of not having to dial in too much stuff. Like set the amp and just work with it and it just works. Or say the MAZ with boost on and then you are just kind of looking at one tone control and 2 volume controls and you can get where you want really fast. Then you watch say the Carmen Ghia video with Dean Parks and it has volume and tone and that's all you really need if the amp sounds good begin with, particularly for recording where you are just looking for tones and volume doesn't matter. And that guy who was one of the say main 4 studio cats who's used everything and would bring a million things to a session via cartage to boil it down to that one amp with 2 controls has enormous weight. Every time I hear Luke talk (1 of the other 4 or so), he just raves about Dean Parks like every time. Then add the story with Walter Becker being turned onto the amp by him and ordering a bunch... there's something to be said there for that amp specifically, but also just a simplistic approach of a one channel amp the just flat out sounds good. Back to the CAZ, I just really appreciate that it's one channel and you can steer it in a lot of different directions easily. Boy that was long, sorry about that!

Haha, I couldn't have said it better myself! It's the best of both worlds, best thing of all is it's unbelievably controllable from the guitar. Just an amazing amp. Every single time I turn it on I learn more about it, it's simple and logical in control layout yet it's so versatile.

Isn't DiMartini (sp?) famous for playing an SLO? I enjoyed how the CAZ and Adam covered that sound.

Isn't DiMartini (sp?) famous for playing an SLO? You might be right... I'm not sure! I'm not sure if I had heard of them by that release either, but I do remember some Laney AOR's being around at the time. Maybe that's where I got it from.
