Hi Z-Peeps
I've been have all sorts of trouble with my Timmy pedal lately... Switch didn't turn on. Now it's back but the volume knob doesn't work properly. I barely get any volume boost from using it. Also I noticed the 3 way switch in the middle doesn't work as well.
Someone told me to get in touch with Paul. And I did but never got any answers... Anyone else had problems with a Timmy? Any help?
I tried so many other 'boost and overdrive' pedals but clearly the Timmy is the winner.

That is very odd re Paul - he has always been quick to answer the phone or emails. Which version is this (just curious)

Right, I had a @comcast address and never got any answers...
I believe it's a V.2 but how can I figure it out?

If it has the toggle switch on top it is V2, but I think someone else is building the mini version. When I get home I will post his phone#. 615-896-8555

I recently had to replace the footswitch on my Tim. It had been on my board since 2012 and finally failed. I replaced it with one I bought from Fulltone. It is fairly easy to do since it is not soldered to the board, only flying leads. I would guess the Timmy uses the same arrangement. It was just easier for me to do it than contact Paul and deal with shipping. I doubt that the toggle switch would go bad since it rarely gets used.

Right, but the footswitch used to be the problem. Now the volume know doesn't do much and the toggle switch as well...

Right, but the footswitch used to be the problem. Now the volume know doesn't do much and the toggle switch as well... I'll make a little confession here. I once noticed on my Tim that the Drive control for the Boost function did not do much. It is on the top side and a little hard to see plus I rarely used the boost function so I just forgot about it. Then one day I took the pedal off the board for some maintenance and discovered that the set screw in that knob was loose. Actually it had been over-tightened and the plastic cracked. Not by me since I had never had a wrench on it. So the knob had been freewheeling. Sometimes a problem can be traced to the simplest cause. Occam's razor.

I just went through this and my issue was the foot switch, it would cut out or low boost and sometime completely. I kept spraying it with Detoxic and working it for a few days and seems fine now. Worth a try!
