I'm exploring which Dr. Z amp to buy as a first-time Z buyer. Out of the amps I've owned, the Matchless Lightening 15 is my favorite. I know I should be considering an EL 84 amp but I am curious about the Jetta. Will it provide chime and go kinda Voxy?

I think you would be happier with a MAZ 18 or Z Wreck Jr. The Jetta can get sparkly, but I think if you are looking for Vox like chime, there are better offerings.
Welcome to the forum.

I bought the Vox AC30 head and the matching 2X12 before the Jetta....had it for a week and returned it. If you intend to use any effects in the loop forget the Vox, it sucks tone and if playing with some higher gain the delay repeats will be all distorted and thin sounding. I guess that's what you get for using cheap components and made in China. The cab quality was sub par as well.
Spend the extra money you should have in the first place and get a handwired, made in USA boutique amp with top quality components. The cost is a one time thing, the amp you'll have forever or as long as you want.
If you want an EL84 sound, the Maz is what you should look at. I haven't had the pleasure to play a Maz so I'm just suggesting this from what I've heard and the amps tube specs.
If you're open to the Jetta, I'll tell you I prefer it entirely for clean, lead and rhythm than the AC30. In fact, if Brian May tried the Jetta, he'd probably have his AC30s on Kijiji.

Must say, the more I play this very weird amp, the more I like it … This is how it begins. Soon, you will find yourself "needing" another Z amp...and another.
Btw, I see you have a Mesa Maverick. I had a 2x12 at one point and currently have a 1x12. I've been through several other MBs, but the Maverick is the keeper.

Agree, the Maverick is a keeper, however it is freakin loud and freakin heavy!
