So it seems that Doc discontinued the MAZ 38 Sr. Mk. II (only the reverb model—the "NR" still seems to be current) back in February? Whoa!
I thought that, if anything, the newer Mk. II circuit would've made the Jr./18 model somewhat unneeded anymore (not the 38). Especially considering the 1/2-power switch on the 38 plus the fantastic master volume. This is a true classic "Dr. Z" model, so... what gives?
Truthfully, I've been trolling around considering a 38 (problem is, can't decide between reverb vs. NR) on account of the fact that I went MAZ-18-less a year or so ago. Need to get one back in my stable (probably a combo this time, though) and had been seriously eyeballing the 38. Heck, maybe I can snag a deal now!

DeanG is right. I felt the same way when the Stangray was discontinued. Thanks to the Legacy Model Program, I was finally able to grab one!
