I have been looking at the Z Wreck Jr. as my lone amp (I play mostly blues, classic rock, GnRish type stuff) and some folks here considered I also look at the Maz Sr NR given more clean headroom (if needed) and the added versatility. Curious whether any ZWreck Jr owners here have also owned the Maz Sr and can contrast?
Thanks in advance!

while I don't have a Wreck Jr. (I have full-strength) with regards to the Max 38 you could get the 1/2 power switch which would really give you some versatility! I do have one of those and they are great.

I don't think the 1/2 power mod is necessary on the Maz 38, however, I like it, a lot. The amp projects a little less noise floor when in the 1/2 power mode and you are playing somewhat quietly. I really enjoy the Maz 38 Mark II NR, it actually neutralized Z-Wreck Jr. Gas!
