Lots people say the MAZ Jr 18watts sounds like way more than 18watts. The MAZ cuts through anything, and sounds loud no matter how you set it lol! The Jetta like you say has a softer delivery, but IMO that 30 watts shows itself in the low mid/bottom, more weight and thrust. I’ve never got what I wanted outa a 2xEL84 or 2x6v6 amp on stage, prefer a little more oomph, so big Tubes or 4xEL84 and an Attenuator works better for me, for that extra oomph in the fullness. The Jetta on the other hand with the master gets that full range oomph from the studio cab at every level I’ve needed. It’s a ballsy mofo! I like where the 30 watts is used in the frequency spectrum.

Well this description has me super excited about my Incoming Jetta. I have had the same feeling with pretty much any amp that was 2 EL84s or 2 6v6s. I loved the omph of the Route 66 but a tad more In the high end should be perfect.
