So what are you guys using for reverb with a Zreck jr. I like to play around with reverb quite a bit. For most use I like to use it subtle but for some songs I like to crank it up for doing steel licks, giving it lots of depth, some songs I like the splashy effect. So I like to fiddle and change it up through out the night. Of course the Z verb is the logical choice. I owned one years ago with a Stangray and it was fantastic. However it won't sit on top of a Z wreck jr without covering up those knobs. I wouldn't want to put it on the floor as it would be tough to fiddle with it. Probably be just as easy to bend over to a pedal to adjust the knobs. So think the z verb is out. Plus I think it would cost about $1,300 - $1,400 here in Canada. I'm sure I can get a decent pedal for a fraction of that. The only reverb pedal I ever owned was a Catilinbread Topanga. Just curious as to what others have used with their zwreck jr.

A lot of folks here like the Strymon Flint. I'm using the hidden "spring" reverb function on my el Capistan, which is subtle and sounds great along with a bit of delay. Also I've got a Wampler mini Faux Spring Reverb that works great for splashier sounds.

I just got my Z Wreck Jr. and I don’t have much time with it yet at all... and even less than with effects, like 10 mins. So my opinion and experience here is very limited. With that said ~ I’m using a Strymon Flint. I think the Flint works good and what I like most about it is that it can handle EOBU and overdrive tones well. IME a lot of ambient reverb types don’t fare well with dirt without having to really adjust the settings. I need my reverb to be able to handle my amp dynamics and OD just as good as my amp. The Flint has always done this very well for me for amps with good dynamic ranges between clean to OD.

I don’t have a Wreck jr. yet, but in front of my Antidote and now my Therapy and Ghia I like the Catalinbread Talisman. It can almost double as a short delay and of course get pretty deep and cavernous. It’s not a spring reverb, rather a plate emulation.

I've been using a Flint in the loop of a Cure with great results. The reverb is good but the tremolo is great! The reverb is like the internal reverb in a Fender amp. I have a Topanga as well, but that is more like an outboard reverb tank, and has a much stronger effect and can be used to drive the amp harder as well.
