It's pretty great--feels just about perfect, sounds great (love the neck pickup on a good 335), everything works as it should, guitar is pretty nearly flawless as far as I can tell (it's a 2019--used, but you'd never know it), super nice job on the VOS thing, which I happen to like, touch of figure in the top, plus the groovy Cali-girl Lifton case. Nicest 335 I could ask for--she's a keeper.

Nice Jon. Let it be a good distraction from the world for a little while.

That is really nice!
Nice purchase, not sure I could buy a guitar like that without playing it. Glad it worked out.

That is really nice! Nice purchase, not sure I could buy a guitar like that without playing it. Glad it worked out. I've got a really good guitar guy at Dave's who will tell me exactly what a guitar's like in about thirty words or less. He's never once led me astray in fifteen years--I've probably bought more than a dozen guitars from him in that time. Not that I kept them all, mind you, but he's never told me a guitar was anything other than what it was. I trust him a hell of a lot more than I trust my doctor or my broker, I can tell you that.

Bet that sounds great with the Lux. I imagine piano-like cleans that are full and rich and of course the verb and trem to top it off.

Thanks, guys--yeah, she's a keeper. I'm not the kind of person who names cars, but for some reason I'm inclined to name some of the guitars I own, especially the Gibsons. So now I'm pondering potential names. Suggestions welcome--some kind of rock n' roll-sounding or blues sounding woman's name would be in line with what I've been doing, but it doesn't have to be that, of course.

Beautiful instrument Jon. Good luck with it! I was looking for the same 335 and couldn't find one. Then I got a call from my buddies at Willcutt's and that they had something for me. Drove down and fell in love with this guitar and took it home!

I've almost got the Felder part sorted out. I can't say I play it well, yet--but at least I can play it.

One is stereo, and the other is mono so I can play the guitar like any other. I had a red 1966 Gibson ES-355 TD-SV also and never used it in stereo. And the varitone switch is really cool too, but I just leave it in the #1 position, as I was only looking for a 335.
