I just saw where this released today on Reverb. The first 500 through Reverb are supposed to be signed by Joey Landreth. Supposed to be based off the Bluesbreaker/KOT circuit. Sounds pretty decent and highly interactive. However I can't necessarily justify $300 right now for another OD pedal. So I'll wait until it starts to hit the used market and hopefully get it at about 100 buck discount. That being said, knowing my luck it would probably turn into the next KOT or Hermida Zendrive and end up being $800...If so then, oh well. Ha!
Just a heads up though for any other dirt pedal junkies, like myself!

I just picked up a J Rockett GTO from our member Rhino. After all of the $$ I have spent over the years on OD pedals (new AND used) this has to be the best hunnerd bucks I have spent on a pedal in a long time. Sometimes the initial reviews and demos can set you up for failure in your own rig so I never buy "The Next Big Thing" impulsively - just wait and let it simmer for a while.

Exactly. That's what I'm thinking. Unless there is just a huge consistent demand for it, it's still going to be available and most likely at a reduced price later on as used. Really the only reason for someone to pull the plug at this time is if they are a big Joey Landreth fan and want to get one of the pedals that was signed by him, but that's really the only reason.

There’s a lot that’s involved with the golden boy. I think it can be midi controlled if I’m not mistaken. If u run a board with one of those switchers, I can justify the cost. I just picked up a brown protein and I love it. Tweaked Blues breaker and nobels in one pedal. That with my ryra and fallout cloud take care of dirt for me

I don't have a midi switcher though. So midi doesn't mean anything to me, personally. Definitely seems like a very nice pedal though.

I have heard a few demo's of this pedal and it easily sounds better than 90% of the low-medium gain overdrive pedals that I've bought or heard and when stacked together its definitely the best stacked tone from two different pedals that I've heard to date! I was curious as to whether you purchased the Browne Amplification Protein overdrive pedal direct from Brown Amplification and if you did how much shipping did you pay and what was the price of the pedal? I have an EZG-50 2x10 combo that I would be running the "Protein" pedal through!
Do you like using the Blue and Green sides by themselves as well as stacking them?
