Hi all, does anyone happen to know the weight of an M12 chassis without the headshell?
I'm looking at picking one up soon and I'd be interested to know!
Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know specifically, but the M12 is a very light amp (meaning, the chassis). I've had many Dr. Z amps and the M12 felt a LOT lighter than even the Carmen Ghia or Z28, which both share the same head-shell cabinet.

Hey thefooldogMy M12 head weighs 23 lbs in the head cabinet. I didn’t pull it but I have an empty head cab that’s roughly the same size that weighs 7 lbs. It does feel a touch lighter/thinner than what I recall my Z head cab weighing though. So I’d say that puts the chassis at roughly 15-16lbs with tubes installed. Note though, I have a special NOS pair of el84 tubes that weigh 2lbs each. Jk.
