Anyone got experience with Ernie Ball Primo Slinky strings (9.5 12 16 24 34 44)? I've been using the same old same old 10-46s on my 24.75 scale guitars for ever, so figured this might be something fun to try.

I'd be all for these--but really only on a Fender/25.5" scale (for my preferences).
The biggest issue--in my humble opinion--with the typical 9.5-gauge sets from D'Addario, etc., is the use of a too-skinny 11.5 second (B) string. I've even customized that set for myself by swapping in a 12 for the B-string. (Worked out much better.) Looks like Ernie Ball got it right with this set!

Yes I have went from the regular Ernie Ball slinkys the 10's to the Primos and love them. I have no plans on going back to the 10's I just purchased a three pack of the 9.5 Ernie Ball turbo slinkys off of E-Bay that I ma going to try out. The only reason I got those is because there were no deals on the primos' But regardless I have nothing but praise for the primos they are excellent strings.

I just put a set of Ernie Ball 9.5 Turbo Slinkys on one of my Strats and they are also very good. The have heavier bottom strings. 46 36 26 16 12 9.5 If you were going from the 10' to these 9.5 these would be less dramatic. These have more bite than the primos. The primos seem warmer and more rounder sounding. They are both very good I like them both but maybe like the primos a little more. Not sure as of yet I would have to gig with these Turbos then I will be able to say which ones I like better but either way they are both good.

The primos seem warmer and more rounder sounding. Warmer is good news. I always lean to the warmer, smoother tones...

I saw these. I use SIT 9 1/2’s, but change my G string to a 15.
