Our local cable company had a disruption last night so we lost our internet for about 10 hours.
My youngest son dug into out DVD collection and pulled out one of favorite movies "Amadeus"
It's a long movie but I love it. The acting is superb and the narrated documentary style if the movie is very enjoyable.
My favorite thing about the movie though is how they portray the music writing style of Mozart. I'm not sure how historically accurate it is but if true it's amazing how he worked and created.
As a musician, this movie inspires me to write and he creative.
Check it out or watch it again. Really good movie

Blowing the dust of my movie collection too. ‘October Sky’ and ‘Searching for Bobby Fischer’ were the most recent ones watched from the archives. Love both of those movies.

My favorite thing about the movie though is how they portray the music writing style of Mozart. I'm not sure how historically accurate it is but if true it's amazing how he worked and created. I'm certain this aspect is overly dramatized in the film but by all accounts he was able to hear full orchestrations in his head and write them out straight to paper at a very young age. Having been so prolific over a relatively short life, there must have been times the music came faster than it could be transcribed. great movie.
