We were playing an event called Decadent Cabaret, which has been going on for 41 years here in Eau Claire. Three nights, forty-some bands on two stages. The concept is that each band covers somebody more or less recognizable, and they book a really broad range of genres. We were covering Linda Ronstadt (our vocalist, Katie, just slays on her stuff), but there were metal bands, a Kiss tribute band, a band covering Prince, bands doing '80s pop, bands doing stuff I couldn't identify or describe. Huge fun, big crowds. We had an early slot on Saturday which was actually great--I wouldn't have wanted to follow the Kiss band. Anyways, I'm playing a Nash T-2HB through a Jetter GS-124 set to pretty low gain and an el Capistan delay as a doubler, with a TC mini spark as my boost--real simple board. The Jetta's set with everything at about 10:00, iirc. My playing's kind of stupid on both of these--not a lot of practice time to really work on solos--but I like my tone here, and got compliments from one of the metal dudes, which was awesome.
Blue Bayou--not crazy about this tune but Katie kills it so wth:
Poor Poor Pitiful Me--a little more rocking, same two country licks pretty much:

Some slight hilarity on the ending of Pitiful Me, if you made it that far. Oh well! We learned five new tunes in about a month, with only two full band practices. I think maybe three of them might be keepers.

Sounds great to me Jon.
The Jetta is really paying off, and hoooo boy, so is Katie!

Nice Jon, thanks for posting. Strong tone , great cover. Z Thanks, Doc. Great amp--I'd have liked to crank it a bit more and really show it off, but we were trying to keep the stage volume down a bit. I think it sounded excellent, even so--this is just an iPhone video, so not the full effect. Easiest amp in the world to dial in, too--sounds great however you set it. On edit: I should add that the Jetta's a no-brainer at this price point. It's the next classic Dr Z design, IMO.

Sounds great to me Jon. The Jetta is really paying off, and hoooo boy, so is Katie! Right? She's really something. A quick study, great voice, sings harmony when called upon, shows up for practice, maybe a little drama but we've gotten pretty good at handling it. Lucky to have her--probably one of the best two or three female vocalists in town, at least among those currently gigging. Really happy with the rhythm section, too--I keep telling them they should fire me and get a real guitar player--but they can't, 'cause I own the PA (note to Z Bros: this is the best reason I can think of to buy a PA).

Really nice, Jon. Band sounds very good. And you are getting rock-solid tone.
My Nashes sound super through the Jetta; T2HB is a very cool axe.

You guys got a good thing going. Fair point--there's already an all-female band in town, although they're not very good. Enthusiastic, though!
