Hey, all! So, I have been bouncing between amps like crazy lately, and haven't been able to settle on anything. I've gone from Orange Rockerverbs, to Dirty Shirleys, to Mark Vs and Fillmore 25s and 100s, Allen Chihuahuas - I've been all over lately. Well, the Jetta has been on my radar since it got announced. I realize after flying through amps the last year, that simplicity resonates with me. The Jetta had my attention initially because of that. Aside from that, the unique power tubes, the overall Dr. Z quality - I knew I'd end up with one at some point. I'm playing this pretty much exclusively through a Dr. Z 1x12 convertible cab with a Creamback M65. This amp is really, really something else. It sounds like it has a lot of pieces of many amps I've loved over the years. The thing it reminds me the most of is my old Hiwatt DR504. It has that same big, punch you in the chest sound that my Hiwatt had, and it takes pedals just as brilliantly as that amp did. Oh yeah, I'm a pedal guy, almost exclusively. That said, I have been riding this amp right on the edge of breakup, which I find to be the sweet spot. My settings have been sitting on the master at around 11-12, tone around 12-2, and the volume anywhere from 9 o'clock to 2-3 o'clock, depending on the edge I'm looking for. The tone knob really exceeded my expectations. No matter if it's all the way count or clockwise, I find something in it I love. Truly insanely versatile. The loop is exactly as it is advertised - totally transparent. I'm running an Earthquaker Ghost Echo and DM-2W in it right now, but have been throwing things into it randomly as I feel the need. No issues at all. I'll probably roll some random tubes in it soon, just for fun. All in all, this amp has been here almost a month, and I haven't even considered letting trading it or selling it. That's a pretty big deal for someone with GAS like mine.

I have owned a few of your amps in the past (EZG-50, Route 66, Maz 18 and 38, Z28) and this is my favorite, with the Route 66 being a VERY close second. That amp was really something else. Thanks for everything. Your YouTube videos, included. I've gained a lot of confidence about working on my own gear thanks to you.
