I've always wanted to get a treble booster and the Rangemaster to me has been the benchmark. Recently Fuller came out with a version that has a 6 band high pass filter and a NOS Mullard OC75 germanium transistor. The clips I've heard sound really, really good. It's expensive, and in a sense I feel like I've let myself be sucked into the hype. I'm a retired EE and I know how stupidly simple these old boosters and fuzz tones are. The original has 8 components in the circuit. On the other hand original parts are very rare so I talked myself into it.
I'll let ya know when I get it.
In the meantime, are any of you fellas treble booster fans?

The Ranger has been calling to me too, but I already have so many variants I just can’t do it. Let us know what you think, before I give in.

I'm on the Fulltone email list so I've been getting all of Mike's emails. Tempting but I'm short on coin. My Analogman Beano Boost does the trick!

I’m on Fulltone’s mailing list, and I saw this. I’d be lying if I didn’t say this and maybe another pedal interested me, but all I read on his customer service and his disrespect of customers makes me wonder why I even continue to receive his emails. To be fair, I do own a Clyde wah and an old Supra-trem that have caused me zero problems.
He definitely didn’t go to the DrZ school of customer service.

Yep. I have the Analogman Sunlion. The Beano boost side of the pedal is a great treble booster. Mine has low gain germanium transistors in it.

I needed parts ( a set of rubber bumpers) for my Clyde Deluxe Wah. I had to send pictures, receipt, serial number, etc. to get customer service, but when I jumped through the hoops he did deliver. I've heard bad things about his CS too, but he does build well. We'll keep the fingers crossed about how it's gonna sound.

Got my Clyde deluxe over 10 years ago as a gift from my wife. It works and has held up fine. If I had to produce a receipt to buy some parts, I’d be SOL.

First impressions are that it's great going into an already cooking amp, and it works really well to drive other OD pedals. Not so good into a clean amp. It's got kind of a 'cocked wah' tone to it that sounds great unless your amp is too clean. I haven't had a chance to try it out with a band yet, but I bet it'll sound great out front. The selector switch is very effective at picking where you want your bass to start rolling off. I can set it up to sound brighter for humbuckers or darker for single coil guitars. I don't think I'd like the pedal if it didn't have this feature.

I have a Legendary Tones “Time Machine Boost “ which has a treble booster with 2 voices. Really liking it into the Remedy. ME Same for me, my TMB (60s side all way up, 18v) into my already cranked Remedy has been my lead tone for years. Nothing beats a Lester, a Remedy and a TMB for classic rock tones. Tons of tone!!!

This thread brought back the tones I remember the pedal provoking so I found a used one and bought it. Just what I need...ANOTHER boost pedal...I can't wait!?! :-P
