I've owned a lot of Z's (Maz 18, Maz 38, Remedy, Z-Wreck) and the Nova is by far my favorite. It's extremely warm when clean and the overdrive is nothing short of incredible.
I've only played through with P90s and single coils, but this may be the one amp I use for years to come!

I went with the head and got a new Z Best. I've heard really good things about the combo though.

Congrats on the acquisition. I love my Nova. Fwiw, I often keep the OD engaged and use the guitar volume to move from clean to pushed.

I've got the V-30 in my Nova combo and love it with my Firebird's mini humbuckers. It's a great Strat amp too. Killer range of tone/gain right at your guitar's volume knob.

Congrats! I need to try a NOVA.. Did you get the combo or head? Your question was for recess but I'll add my perspective. I ordered the combo, which will arrive early next week. I already have a Z-112 cab and initially planned to get a head but the LT combo is actually 2 lbs lighter than my Z-112 cabinet! ... so I went for the grab-n-go factor. Still keeping the 112 for other heads but also to compare speakers with the combo and I can stack 'em if needed.
