Sweetwater was out of stock on the Jetta. They got a new shipment in late last week. I decided to wait until today, Monday, to order it. Man, they sold out before noon!
That's great news for Doc!
My rep just put one on reserve for me at the $1399 price. I'm sure Doc is going to raise it soon.

Sweetwater ordered there second 12 , we shipped them 6 last week. The balance 6 are being built and will go out next week, holiday this week slowed us a bit. Guys we are up to serial number 86, we released the Jetta for sale on Oct. 7th. damn built a great sounding unique amp with the right features at a GREAT price , and you can't build them fast enough. I woke up early this morning to check and see if by any chance a Jetta was available at Sweetwater. There was a demo unit available and I snagged it. It should arrive on Monday.

I woke up early this morning to check and see if by any chance a Jetta was available at Sweetwater. There was a demo unit available and I snagged it. It should arrive on Monday. Well.... let's have it.. It got delivered on Saturday to my studio office. The office manager locked it up in the main office so I got it on Tuesday. I'm gigging it on Saturday. Gigs are where I judge amps. I plugged my older Z-Verb into it. (None of that hum thing going on when you set the Verb on top of the amp). I taught my students with it for two days. I haven't been able to crank up the Master volume yet, because of the offices surrounding me. I brought it home last night, and will crank it today. I love the clean and edge of breakup tones so far. It reminds me of the Z-Lux in that no matter where I set the knobs, the thing sounds great. Especially with the Zverb in the loop! The Demo Chris did with the Tele for Matt's Music is what got my attention and sold me on the amp. The Jetta sounds exactly like that demo with my Tele. So I'm uber happy. Can't wait to crank it today to see how the dirtier tones sound. At this point, as long as it takes dirt pedals well, this thing will more than work for me. And it's light! When I carried it to the car I said out loud to myself "Oh YEAH, this thing is a keeper!" The gig on Saturday is on the 27th floor, so Jetta's arrival came at the right time. Monday's gig is at the Denver Broncos Stadium, a huge place. I may bring the Jetta for that one. Load in is a b*tch there too. Bonus, my Sweetwater Rep gave me the 15% Black Friday sale price! |
