It's true. He texted me today and told me the Jetta is going to be on the 36-month payment plan.
"Have I heard it" "Do you want me to set one aside for you?"
I don't know what to say. That Matt's music demo sure sounds great....
I sense some indigestion coming on

I did. It sounds like the perfect amp for smaller rooms and stages. John, did you get one?

Not as of yet. Other obligations have taken priority. š©

I don't have any obligations but I also don't have the money ( and not gigging as much lately), but other than the Nova and it's demos this amp has had my attention from the get-go. Maybe Kurt from Sweetwater will contact me and I will cave.

It is a fantastic amp and a genuine bargain at Doc's into price. How good? My wife was working on her computer in the room directly above where I was playing the Jetta today at a respectably loud volume. Not only did she not relocate, she commented on how good the sound was. (I was playing straight in with a Flint in the loop.)

Mike, are you finding that the loop adds any noise when you engage it? If I may , the Metro loop is highly buffered, hence if you enter a group of pedals witch are themself buffered the noise floor will increase . Low level noise from pedal boards will not add a significant amount of noise into a basic series effects loop. Whereas , any noise from the pedal boards will be amplified from the Metro loop. More often than not the noise through the Jetta loop is generated in your pedal board. You may need to rearrange the order of the pedals on your board, the order may be fine with other amps , but the sensitivity of the Metro loop may be cause increased background noise.

Thanks Doc.
Iāve only tried a couple of individual pedals so far, but Iāll try some others and see what happens.

Which pedals are you trying? I hope not Overdrive pedals through the loop, as they can have high noise floors.

None that I notice. However, I leave the Flint on rather than engaging/disengaging.
Using the Flint's harmonic trem with a slow speed and not much intensity adds this cool, subtle movement to the sound that is very appealing to my ears when running the amp clean.
Adding to Doc's post, there's a drop in clarity when my pedalboard is plugged into the front of the amp. And that's a board with mostly high-end true-bypass pedals and really good (PCNS) cables.

Doc, so far Iāve tried two pedals that are a known quantity to me and play well in the loop of my other Z amps. First is a plain old Holy Grail Nano reverb, and I am using the factory power supply. It can be a little picky about power supplies. Then Iāve tried my Mr. Black Deluxe Deluxe Plus reverb/trem pedal, using a 1Spot power supply. Another forumite with a Jetta asked me to give you a call; Iāll try later in the morning.

Has anybody tried the Jetta with an older Zverb? I'm wondering if the reverb hum that affected some Z amps, does the same thing to the Jetta?
