If anybody's interested, for a gig the other night I ran my Maz Jr thru my usual speaker cab, which has got a Greenback, and augmented with a Bogner Cube loaded with a lead 80 speaker. The combination was fantastic, and I enjoyed the best tone I've ever produced; full and rich with good bottom and the crystal clear mids and highs typical with the Dr. Let me know if anybody has similar experiences. Man, I love my Maz!

Man, I love my Maz! Sounds like a great combo. Thanks for the tip. I'm using G12H-30s with my Maz 18 now, but I've had good luck in the past with other amps mixing the CL-80 with a Vintage 30, but I don't care for either one alone. The CL-80 alone was especially nasty with my Hot Cat.

I have a Maz Jr NR head. It's very interesting to hear how different it sounds through different speaker cabs. I typically run it through a Z-best 2x12, which is very nice. I also have a Z 1x12 (open back) loaded with an Alnico Blue, a Z 2x10 (open back) and a Bogner Cube. It is very interesting to mix & match those cabinets. The Z 1x12 combined with the 2x10 has a very interesting sound.
