Guys it's nice to see activity in the Jetta section lately.
We have been building them non stop for the last month.
The introductory price will not last forever, and if I can suggest, if you are thinking about grabbing one don't wait too long.
I hate getting the " I have been saving for XXXX amp and before I got the funds together you raised the price , you bastard "
It's quite unusual to see a full powered , 30 watt handbuilt combo amp with cool features sell for $1399.00, you may find 15 watt amps at this price not a real giggable amp .

Thanks for the heads up Doc. Waiting on Sweetwater's next shipment. I was hoping CME had one because I'm in Chicago for the week, and my wife is at home, so there would be no explaining. It would just enter the house with the rest of my gear upon return.

This is the new Ghia. Not that there's anything wrong with the old Ghia. You need one (or two).
As I said in my original Jetta post: buy this before Doc comes to his senses. He's getting close!

I agree. It reminds me of the Ghia as in everyone needs one....or two.  And the super simple controls. (Even though the tone knob on the JETTA is nothing like the Ghia to me. And works opposite way. Sonically, they are completely different. The JETTA is way more robust. It has the “big bottle” tone. Thick & juicy, not to mention almost twice the power, volume & THUMP. I can’t wait to record with this amp. I’m sure it will “go to tape” awesome....just like the Carmen Ghia. Every studio needs a JETTA too~ |
