I just got a used Maz 18 head, and of course, it sounds great. Even though everything is pretty self explanatory, I would like to have a manual for it. Are these available somewhere on the Dr. Z site? I didn't seem to find anything there. Also, thanks to everyone here for your helpful advice. While I was jonesing for a Z amp, I got to come here and research what I thought might be the best model for me, and this forum was, and is, very informative.......... Weedman

No owners manuals are included. A glaring mistake in my estimation.

My Maz Jr. came with a little book that had some setting suggestions and some basic care info for the amp, but that was about it. The settings are a good starting point to get to know what the amp can do. You might want to email the Doc about getting one of those. I'm in the middle of moving, or I would send you a copy of mine.

None of my Z's have ever come with a manual.

I had the same concern when I bought mine. This site more than fills the void, though. If you're looking for settings, effects, tubes, whatever -- somebody here knows the answer. Just fire away.

Mine came with a manual: 7 knobs and 0 bad tones included ;D ;D... Seriously though, everyone's experiences and willingness to share them on this forum definitely picks up the slack. When I first got my Z, I used this forum to gain some really valuable info (still do...). Enjoy the Maz and welcome to the forum! -Greg
