Finished Breaking Bad earlier this week. Started to look at Better Call Saul. Saul Goodman was a great character, but then I think each major character in Breaking Bad sucked you in, requiring you to decide whether you liked or despised them. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Just watched el Camino. Loved breaking bad. Thought better call Saul was very well done. Thought Camino was meh. Aaron Paul was very good. Story felt mailed in.

We watched too. Had to go back to the last episode to recall some things.
I could have done without the numerous flashbacks. Other than that it was ok.

I don’t think you could watch this without having watched BB - and the flashbacks made that worse instead of better, IMO.

I thought El Camino was well done, there was so much back story to cover, so I had to forgive the flashbacks. I thought it was a good bow to put on the Breaking Bad package. Aaron Paul was good as always, Jesse ended up being my favorite character in the series. I'm going to wait a few weeks and then watch the BB series again. I've got a friend who is really into it and says he's seen it three times. Gets something new every time he views it. Solid B+ on Camino.

Looking fwd to watching El Cam. Loved BB and Saul...
Currently watching Walking Dead start to finish (or current episodes).....{for the 1st time!}...
I recently saw Aaron Paul (Jesse) is starring in the next year's "West World." Maybe he can save the confusing mess WW has become....

Yep, they took a great beginning supplied by Yule Brynner & Co., and hacked it up pretty well.
I've never seen the Walking Dead either, gonna start in on it tomorrow. Thanks Lee!

Yep, they took a great beginning supplied by Yule Brynner & Co., and hacked it up pretty well. Aaron Paul is ready for something on the big screen. He sort of floundered with The Path, and West World has always been bad. Next they'll try to resurrect Water World by Kevin Costner.

We watched too. Had to go back to the last episode to recall some things. I could have done without the numerous flashbacks. Other than that it was ok. Same here Lefty. I thought the movie was OK but flashbacks make me drool. Same with dream sequences and other out of the moment scenes. I’d say it was age if I hadn’t always been this way. I watch a movie to be entertained, not to have to think about whether the current scene is in real time or whatever it is. I personally don’t see why a story can’t be effectively told in a linear A to Z fashion, but apparently it cannot be. Seems to me that unnecessary flashbacks, etc. are employed for nothing more than the sake of self-serving artsy-fartsiness. And get get off my lawn!

It is worth doing at least that many. So many layers. Unlike some other solid series they tie everything together so well. El Camino brought Jessie to a good conclusion. It didn’t blow me away like BB, but it didn’t piss me off.

Watched El Camino, not stellar for me, but it was nice to bring a close to Jesse's saga. It was an entertaining couple of hours. Anxiously awaiting additional seasons of Better Call Saul.
