Thanks to a fellow Z-Talk member I am the proud new owner of a DB4 head. It must have been destiny because it matches my Z-Best perfectly! I have often wondered about this amp but never pulled the trigger. The demos truly do not do it justice. The cleans are sweet, the drive is smooth and harmonic and it takes pedals like a champ! I am still in the honeymoon phase but this may be my favorite Z yet. I have either owned or own the Route 66, Ghia, Mini, Maz18, Nova, Z-Wreck, M12, Z28. God job Doc and I hope she reappears in the lineup some day. .. Here she is...  |

Congrats on a great amp. Perfect match! I've got the Bluesbreaker version - 2x12 Celestion Blues a combo. Heavy but it doesn't go far  And I got a Z umbrella and tea with mine! |

Thanks Randy for giveing the DB 4 a try.
That set looks HOT.
I wish more players would have plugged into the DB 4 , they would have been pleasantly surprised.

Any one that has plugged into my DB4 really like it - surprised quite a few of them! My favorite settings are the 3/4 on the rotary dial.
