The last few months my NOVA has been getting all my playing time. Great amp.
Tonight I was getting ready for Praise band rehersal and decided to grab my 1x10 Ghia combo and bring that along. I recently put a Dr Z 10" speaker in it to match up my 1x10 extension cab.
all plugged in at church tonight and fired it up with my Tele and wow! I sure love the tone on this amp.
Punchy, tight and great edge of break up tone!!
Killer amp
Everyone should have one!!

I’ve been using my Maz 18 MKII and Z-Lux for gigs and I took my Fender Blues Jr to the practice room, so I’ve been using my Carmen Ghia as a practice amp. And wow, you are so right. It is special.

I completely concur. I took my Carmen Ghia head back to Chicago with me over the fourth. I sat in with my former praise band, plugging into a cabinet I donated to the church when we moved. My ASAT sounded delicious. I had been playing my Z-Plus and my Antidote for the past several months. It was nice to revisit the glorious tone and simplicity of the Ghia.

Agreed. The Ghia is my favorite Z of all time. I've owned 4 over the years and they've all been consistently great amps. My current Ghia has something special going on and it makes me smile every time I plug in.

I'm not sure why, but my Ghia gets about 75% of the playing time here in my little home studio. I love my Maz Jr, but there's just something about plugging into a simple amp that delivers a very solid direct sound.
Love my Ghia too! So, I figured I better show a little love for this thread!

I read this post, Plugged into my ghia, and ended up in a time warp a few hours later.
Great little amp with a big tone!
