I've only had this amp 21 days. The volume was loud and I was achieving apartment level room practice level with all knobs (Volume, Master, Level) around 9:00 position, which is like around 1/4 % of max. Then mysteriously volume dropped. Now to get that 9:00 setting volume I have to set the Volume knob at 90% of max., at 4:00-5:00 position, with Master and level knobs at 3:00... so this amp now is like a 5 watt amp.. Also the amp still functions, but not as it should volume wise. Additionally the Volume knob taper is useless (no volume) until the last 20% of the sweep to max. Very strange. Also with having to do this to the knbs at 80-90% max the noise floor is apparent with low level hiss... it was dead quite as far as noise before.... Any ideas, same experiences... Did I get a Lemon!!! This was an New amp from Humbucker Music... Is this a faulty tube for the Volume Knob, a resistor, a pot, ... ? I'll contact service... just wondering if others have experienced this... I'm kinda freaking out... I have performances coming up...

No need to panic. Probably a tube issue. 90% or so of problems can be traced back to tubes. Since it is new, contact Humbucker and they will make it right. Between them and Doc they'll get to the bottom of your issue quickly. Doc doesn't build lemons - he builds tanks. If the amp weren't new, I would have suggested this video that Doc put together on trouble shooting a Z amp. It's worth watching even if it is going back to Humbucker just for some background about the troubleshooting process.
BTW - welcome to the Forum. A lot of good people and information here.

Definitely sounds like a tube issue. Tubes are funky and they always fail at the worst possible time--it's a law of freakin nature. I always keep a spare set of tubes on hand for all of my amps, because this is A Thing That Happens.

Tube all the way I think. Once you get that squared away, enjoy that great amp you have!

I think you've got a case of infant mortality here. Usually a preamp tube will last for years if it makes it through the first few months of use. Don at Z amp repairs will get you straightened out. Z builds the (IMO) best amps in the industry, and nobody stands behind their amps better than Z.
One other suggestion, in your post you mention that you set your amp up with the Volume, Master, and Level controls all set very low. I've found that this isn't the way to get the best tone out of my Cure. I get the best tone if I use my main Volume control to control primary gain or overdrive...usually up around 12:00, and the Master (which controls the drive to the phase inverter tube) up around 3:00 to full on. This gives me a good meaty sound that I can control with my guitar's volume control. Then I set the Level control for the loudness I need. The Level control is the only one that I use at settings of 9:00 (or less). If the other two are too low I get weak, wimpy tone. Interaction of the three controls yields a huge variety of tone, feel, and attack.
It's also a great idea to keep a couple of replacement tubes and fuses around. Tubes give the greatest tone but they are also the weakest link in a great guitar amplifier.
By the way, welcome to the forum! I've made some good friends here over the years and there is a lot of good people and knowledge here.
