I don't recall seeing this before. Neat comparison.
The guy noted in the comments that the tranny needed to be replaced on the Vox and it actually sounds better now.
Regardless, I think it's a fair comparison and cool clip.

Interesting. To me, the Maz sounded more forward and fat in it's chime. The Vox sounded good but I'll keep my Maz 18NR VII.
I wish he had driven the amps harder, cranked the volume up on them and gotten into some good overdrive tone.

Yep. The bottom end is more taut as well. I like the sound of the Vox but the Maz had no problem gettin' Voxy here. |

I like them both. I would have more use for the MAZ but the AC has a very cool thing going, especially with that Telecaster.

Maz was holding it's own.
The MKII voicing and 6n14n power tubes would address the harshness, and deliver even more sound dimension.

I tried a ac 15 with blue out at a jam...(spent the last loudest set of the night) it sounded nice on some things but man I wish I had had my maz after all said and done.
