This one, oh boy.... THIS one, is the end of the line for 'ol T-Rock as far as Gibson semi-hollers go. The absolute, VERY last one (That's what I told my wife this afternoon... again). But really... it is. Holy Grail sh!t for me chirrens. 121 of 200 1960R Freddie King 345 in an exclusive color. Supposedly, Freddie got one in this color, but it never went into production. Yeah, well... supposedly, there's a pot of gold at the rainbow's end. My boy, Greg Martin hepped me upon it this morning, and pretty much gave me 24 hours to either make my best deal on it, or it was gonna be his 4th one. Yeah, he loves 'em that much! Took me all freekin' day, but it's gonna be here next week. He's playing in Roscoe, Tx. with the Headhunters tonight, but took time out to share a pic (& video) of he and Jack Pearson at the Ryman a few weeks ago with one of his Freddies. ' Here's mine...

Do they still make stereo 345s? I had a friend (really!) who had a nice one in the 70s.

Beautiful guitar and color Tony! Play and enjoy!
I love my ES-345. Mine is natural and doesn't have the tone select dial. It sounded fantastic through the Z-Master when I played at Z-fest last year. Buddy made her sound amazing though the Nova.
Hope we meet up down the road!

Do they still make stereo 345s? I had a friend (really!) who had a nice one in the 70s. This one is stereo out of a single jack. TRS goes into the guitar with a TS/TS pair coming out. A PCNS Y plug(a REAL thing of beauty.. THX, Todd & Patti!) at the termination point keeps everything kosher.

A PCNS Y plug(a REAL thing of beauty.. THX, Todd & Patti!) at the termination point keeps everything kosher. I’m glad to hear that. This was how they worked in the seventies (and how the ric-o-sound jack works on a so-equipped Ric, but they also have a mono jack.) This also allows (forces) us to use two Zs on stage. For cleans, it's nice, because you can project two textures, with maintaining the middle pickup position. For rock, it’s still kind of awesome, because you can keep hair or go distorted on the bridge pickup and go clean on the neck and be heard, clearly at reasonable volume with the pickup selector in the middle all night. With the amps apart, you get compliments all night- even if you’re a bit of a hack. Yes, I’ve done the lab work on this.
