This is the first time I've ever bought a guitar online. It's an Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Limited Edition "Amos" Flying V.
Got the guitar in great shape, and it took me a few days to find out that I had a problem with it. The 21st fret is so low that when I play a note on it, it frets the 22nd fret instead...on all strings. Yeah, it took 5 days before I tried playing that high...but who'd have guessed? The neck is perfect except for that. Looking at it, it looks like there is a different type of fret wire in there...very strange.
So yesterday I emailed Sweetwater about it. They called this morning and I told the guy that I really dig this guitar, and want to keep it. I had considered either replacing the 21st fret or lowering the 22nd. It's light at 7lbs 3 oz, and has a great neck. I figured they'd have me ship it to them for repair, but he said they have one that weighs less...7lbs flat. He said they could get it to me tomorrow and I'd have 30 days to decide whether to keep it or not, plus they're sending a prepaid label for the return of the other V. How cool is that? I'm really impressed with their service.
It'll be here tomorrow. That's customer service right up there with Dr.Z. Very cool, thanks Sweetwater!

I've had nothing but good experiences with Sweetwater. when I ordered a custom LsL tele through them I got a call from my rep telling me that the guitar was in, but had a little chip in the paint/finish on the back of the guitar. I told them to ship it anyway and I would look at it for myself. The rep told me that if I decided to keep it that they were going to give me a 10% credit. That's a good bit of money on a custom built guitar!
When the guitar arrived, I had to scour the back visually even to see the tiny chip. When I did, it was literally the size of a pinhead. I just took a blue felt tip pin and touched the chipped spot. Problem solved and I got 10% off!

They were spot on when I purchased the Z-Master Demo (the one that was used in the demos)!

They’ve always been A++++ on every purchase for me as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy anything from them to include insanely expensive guitars. They are a first rate operation.
