Hohohoho! After almost 2 years not on the forum, I’m back on for like 5 days and had to order a new Z! Looks like I got the last DB4 from Humbucker coming to me, hopefully by the weekend!!!!! Rocking a NAD!! Watched Brad Paisley’s 40 minute interesting interview (with ? Sweetwater?) and him playing through the 2-12 combo was too much, I gotta try one. Hoping it’ll be perfect for fairly low volume gigging on half power with some brake. Seems to get pretty early distortion even at 12 o’clock volume. Is this true??? Seems very responsive to guitar volume change.
Please fill this newbie in on the DB4’s charms!!!!! All input appreciated!

I hear really good things about the DB4. It wasn't doing well on the market but the report was a sleeper monster.

The db4’s charms? It takes pedals like the Cookie Monster (wonderfully). I went through a few speaker combinations and ended up going back to what the good Doctor recommends, a Celestion Gold. Lastly, I’ll be a broken record and recommend the Tumnus Deluxe. I use it as an always on.
