I am looking for a Single Ended "Fender" sounding amp primarily for recording and basement use. Would love one that could switch out tubes without fear. (Perhaps to get me to stop obsessing over having an amp for each tube type ;-) The Emery Sound Super Baby seems like a great option. www.emerysound.com/Superbaby.html
Any other suggestions? A combo with a speaker jack for also plugging into my existing cabs could also be an option.

Maybe but might have to wait for a used version. Was hoping for a head or 1x8 combo at the largest.

It's not a single ended amp but it is a Blackface style circuit and it sounds really nice. It has 6 v 6's in it and it has an upgraded transformer set. Let me know if you are interested. BV

Fender's made many thousands of single ended amps over the years. Or get a Mini-Z or Maz 8.

Sounds like it might be time to warm up the soldering iron for a custom build! Lots of great resources online, kits, schematics, parts... And it’s fun.

Allen Amps has a "LF" model that can use either a 6V6 or 6L6 and is a single ended class A circuit. Their stuff is not anything groundbreaking. Just based on classic proven circuits with a few twists. They claim it will do Blackface or Tweed tones.
