Okay, I decided to put my Carmen Ghia in the red cab I brought home.

It looks really great and the two cabs stack really nicely.

I hooked them up with one of my Speaker Y cables. This one is a Speaker Power Y II with a straight Male at the amp end. There just isn't enough room between the back of the chassis and the cab for a right angle plug.

It's interesting listening to the two cabs vs one cab. The combo cab on it's own is in your face where when both cabs are hooked up the sound is less directional and more 3D.

I'll play around tomorrow with clean head room and apparent volume when Josh is around to stroke the guitar while I turn knobs. I'll try and get some cell phone video too.

In the meantime, enjoy the pictures. Sure looks great!

And yes, these are set up on my kitchen table, I have a very understanding wife

Two thumbs up! The red with Z-Lux grill cloth and black piping looks sweet. I have a similar mini-stack in ‘Blackout’, with racing stripe logo; but mine have Eminence 8-ohm speakers, and is missing the mysterious chicken-head control knob on the back of the amp chassis. Please explain. What cha got there (a master volume, an attenuator)?

I did that with mine a while back. 1x10 Ghia Red Fang on top of a compact ZBest style ported 1x12 BoogaFunk with WGS ET-65 that Paulie gave me. I used the pink Plug you & Patty sent me(I still owe you some Outback!). It was killer!!
