I would love to see a revamped Mini Z with only volume and power scaling (where the attenuator was).

Yeah it's wild how loud the mini z is! Mine has an Eminence Red Fang alnico speaker in it and that is a very loud speaker. I set the attenuator on 0 and I use a Weber mini mass so that I can dial down the volume even more than the 11db the Brake Lite. I use it for my daily practice amp. With that said, when the band rehearsal comes around and I get to turn it up ... I jettison the weber and crank the mini z volume at 2 or 3 o'clock ( adjusting the attenuator between 2 and 3 as needed)...effing glorious tone man! No OD needed. ๐๐

Oh how I regret selling it. BUT, I did use it to help fund a Monza, and that too is a sweet amp. A Mini that can be played at home would be perfect. The maximum attenuation is still a bit too loud at home. Glorious tone. Absolutely glorious.

Yes even at maximum attenuation on the brake light and putting the volume only at 9, it's still kind of loud. So I plug my Weber attenuator into it and I can dial it down farther plus I can turn up the volume and get some of that amps tone and attenuate that down but with that much attenuation it's pretty thin sounding hehe. I just had the amp over at a friend's house and was playing it at 3 with no attenuation and it was freaking sustained and beautiful gain City! The class A Design makes it so organic is the only word I can think of
