Greetings from good ol' Blighty!
I only recently noticed that from next year onwards, Z's were generally only going to be available in black. I've had my eye (or should that be ears?) on a Carmen Ghia for some time, and when I heard this news I thought it was a good a time as any to check on Peach Guitars to see what they had in.
Lo and behold, a cream Ghia to go with my current collection of Z's!
Decided to go for it, and after some fun and games with the delivery company, finally took delivery of it today.
Was pretty excited to get her going, but waited a while to let it acclimatise, just due to the current cold weather in the UK. Finally got round to plugging her in, switched on, indicator blinked on and then went out! Fuse has gone!
Just my luck, but I've been on with Peach and sorting things through them. Properly looking forward to getting it going, and hoping its just a case of a damaged tube in shipping. Will be going through the troubleshooting suggested on the website once I get a new fuse.
Fingers crossed, as it'd be nice to get the Ghia up and running for the weekend.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new Ghia. Hopefully it's just a tube problem. I've only heard good things about Peach Guitars. I'm sure they'll get it sorted. Let us know how it works out.

Thanks I've had an account on here for a while now, but not been around for some time. The lads at Peach have been brilliant so far. I know things can go wrong in shipping which is really out of their control, but they've been great about it all. Just bustin to have a blast on the Ghia! haha

Well, absolutely gutted.
Peach sent me a new fuse and new rectifier and power valves, so I started following Doc's troubleshooting.
Replaced the fuse, pulled all the tubes, hooked up speaker and power, and it powered on fine.
Disconnected everything, popped the new rectifier tube in, powered on, fuse went....
Being shipped back off to Peach to be looked at.
Some might say it's the universe telling me the amp isn't for me. I say, shut up universe, I wants me some Ghia!
Lets see what next week brings.

Tubes can be fickle these days. Don't let some initial tube problems turn you away from this amp. You will be rewarded with tone!

Ive had a go around twice with the 110...it was speaker issue in my case...didn't give up (almost sold it)...and its dialing in to be a killer grab and go...what john said!!!
