After seeing Will playing the Mulecaster at Z-Fest I knew I had to get one eventually. Well, I traded notes with Matt last week and I placed my order for one. I ordered a Fiesta Red. Here's a pic of one in Steele Blue.

Will have it mid-October. Here's the Z-Fest video of Will using a similar Mulecaster.

Good choice on the Fiesta Red. One of my favorites. I have a FR T-style.

Nice. The Fiesta Red is what I'd go for too.
It came down to Z80 or Mulecaster for me....Z-80 won out.
I assume you are going with the non-Hipshot bridge?

Very cool. That guitar was really nice at Z-Fest. Played and sounded great. Are you getting it set up for the monster strings that Will had on it or something like 10s that we mere mortals can bend? Looking forward to giving it a run next time there is a get together.

Where I am from, we use a phrase to describe that guitar that goes like this, "Man that is Bitchin!" Seriously, it looks outstanding and I would imagine it would call to you to come play it every time you walk past it!

Really nice. Bet it's a ball to play. Get out your slide. Loved the way those pickups sounded at Z-Fest. As someone who always tweaks, I'd be looking for some tortoise shell chicken head knobs. Looking forward to playing it next time there's a get together.

Looking forward to playing it next time there's a get together. I've tuned it to open A and playing some Johnny Winter slide - I really love the way it sounds! Gonna try open D tuning next week for some Highway 61 licks

Pull that pesky low E string off and tune to open G and there are a plethora of Stones tunes at your fingertips. G-D-G-B-D Keith doesn't need 6 strings. If you want to keep that low E, tune it to D in case you hit it and then avoid it like the plague.
