It was pretty easy to do I wanted to match this cab up a little better with my Marshall head. I have a celestion alnico cream in the cab.

Great job and great taste! Thank you. I appreciate it. I got the salt and pepper grille cloth of of E-Bay it came from China but it is real good high quality stuff. Inexpensive too.

Did the cab used to have the black jute stuff on it? Looks good! And good idea. Yes it did have the black jute. I contacted mesa boogie to find out how much their replacement grilles are and they are like 179 bucks! I got the grille cloth for like 21 bucks shipped. It’s excellent quality cloth.

Looks great. nice job! ( I would have left the mesa logo off-lol) Lol! That was the hardest part putting that logo back on. I almost left it off. I used the old grille to line up the grille holes.

That’s good to know. I have several Mesa cabs and don’t care for the jute as it scuffs and becomes more brittle with time. And it’s expensive! And other than the cane, it’s the only grill they offer so your variation looks extra cool!
