I am pretty excited, yesterday I went into a new music here in town and today I walked out with a new Ghia 12" combo. Its got an N serial number, green jewel light, Weber Alnico Blue Dog and just sounds great.
Previously I had a Ghia head and one of the older narrow Dr Z 2x10 cabs. I ended up selling it because i was not playing it much at the time and sort of wanted a combo. I always kind of regretted that and kept an eye out for another one locally. I was thinking I would have to buy online since they don't really come up here in Portland. Then yesterday i walked into a new shop, Strum, and sitting right there was a used Ghia for sale. I sat and played it for a while, then went back today with my Baja tele to play it some more and bought it.
I knew this place was cool because I saw some old tweed amps in the window and they also serve micro brew beer, and but I didnt expect to walk in and find the amp I was looking for. What good luck. I'm keeping this one for life.
