Howdy,
In recent months I've been giving my '68 Vibro Champ all the "love"..and why not? Well today I plugged into my '08 Carmen Ghia and reconnected. That Celestion blue sounds as good as ever. Even my dogs came in and slept at my feet when I played softly and sang.  Seriously, the Ghia was made for Gibsons. |

No ignoring here. Actually, my Ghia gets most of the love being the first amp turned on most days. Don't know why. As for my cat, unlike your dogs, she runs like h*ll as soon as I start making any noise.  I do have to work the Ghia with my LP P90s. I have a hard time finding the sweet spot in terms of volume although this weekend, I may tuned it in. Gotta give that Ghia Love! |

The past several days I've been firing it up several times per day. Just loaded a WGS Blackhawk Alnico into a z-convertible. Now that's a sweet sound.

My Ghia never gets ignored because it’s my compare to amp in the music room. When I buy a new or used amp I compare it to my CG because the Ghia has such a natural clean sound. This allows me to really hear the voicing of whatever new amp I am comparing it to. Same with the guitars or new pickups.
Unfortunately, it’s my Therapy I’ve been neglecting, only because I’ve been putting off buying new tubes.

Mine's usually at home to take on gigs but I took it to the studio last week to record with Jimbo Mathus.
I love that amp so much.

I feel like I've been ignoring mine bc haven't played through it in a few weeks. I put it in the 1/10 combo cab and it's seen a lot of gig work in that format.
Kinda feel like I'm running around on it w my Z-28.
