Looking for a demo video of a Maz 18 with volume and master turned UP, without any OD/distortion pedals. Figured I'd come straight here instead of spending hours going through videos on YouTube to find out half of them are using pedals. Point me in the right direction!

Here is a video with Dave Baker comparing the Maz 18 NR and Maz reverb models with his guitars plugged straight in. Toward the end he has the preamps dimed (but not the masters) in both amps. To me, it is a pretty good representation of how the Maz 18's breakup.

When Acme Guitar Works were selling hot rod guitars, they used this MAZ 18 as their demo standard. There are several videos produced. Index beyond explanation discussion.

I have a new video of the MAZ 18 MK II. The amp with all the new MAZ 18 upgrades. It is done but isn't yet released to the public on You Tube. I will be releasing it this week. It shows all the available tones and features of the updated MAZ 18.

^^^ ah I missed that....I thought it was just a tremolo pedal in the loop, then the EQ bypass footswitch....

If this can help you here is one I just did. It's a song I did with my students and I used my Maz18nr (2013). Master is at 10 o'clock, volume at 2 o'clock. Les Paul Custom (57 Classic humbuckers- bridge position, on 9/10- volume and tone), no pedals, straight into the high input. recorded through iPhone.

Hello Kris, Am I seeing this right? In the video it looks like 2 jacks on the left side of the pedal with a "jumper" going in and back out the pedal on the left side?

Thanks Doc! Trying to decide between a H-30 and a Creamback 65 for my Maz 18. The H is a more traditional full frequency tone, well balanced , and great low end. With the new MK II design you don't have to worry about upper mid spikes and top end, so the H 30 works well for mostly clean to edge of break up tones. The G-12 M 65 watt Creamback is very smooth and loves overdrive. The top and bottom are slightly compressed, and it has a wonderful distorted character , and is less efficient then the H. The right one is determined by your use. Z

Clean tones are sweet and musical, with a nice top end. The CB definitely sounds very natural with a bit of overdrive, and yes that compression is there but not overly so. Less efficiency just means I can turn the amp up a bit more. Both great speakers but for me the CB has the edge. Now, if I had a mk II Maz it might be different!
