I haven't owned a Dr Z amp in a while. I've been preferring the black face inspired sound the past several years. I had a museum condition 1965 Bassman head and piggy back 2X12 cabinet but someone offered me much more money than I paid so I let if go. Now I'm playing an Allen Old Flame head and 2X12 cabinet and loving it. Don't like taking it out of the house for rehearsal though, too much pain in the butt. So need a small amp and the first thing I thought of was a CG head and a 1X12 cabinet. Or maybe a combo if I could find one.

I love that amp; it always sounds good, every time.

Put both knobs somewhere between 10 and 2....and if it doesn't sound good...you need some lessons.
(Maybe Doc should put that on the Z website...ha ha!)
